Tasty and refreshing ice tea!
With the summer approaching, I knew I couldn't have my 5pm hot tea forever - I needed something cold and refreshing! I don't drink sodas (well, I don't drink anything that contains carbonated water, sweetener and artificial flavoring), so I decided to try to brew my own ice tea. My husband was a bit skeptical, since he never brew cold tea before, but accepted to try it out.We went with the 24 packs Stash Tea Meyer Lemon Blossom Herbal Tea, and we love it! It's really easy to make (just let the bag sleep in the water overnight and diluite the resulting tea the day after), and with 1 bag we make something like 3 gallons tea! The flavor is really good - with no need to add sugar/sweetener! We offered it to our guests, and also the most picky liked it the way it was. It's really refreshing, a great treat during the hot summer. We already finished and repurchased the 24/1 ounce pack - it's our new summer must!

great tea by the pitcher
great taste. It says it makes a gallon of tea per bag, 24 bags in the box hence 24 gals of tea. I Use it for iced tea I use a 2 quart pitcher when seeping. I put the first pour into ice cube when its still 200F. after first glass I fill up the pitcher so I would say each bag makes 3 1/2 quarts per bag. The ice dilutes the teat for a satisfying balance of taste affordability.

Regular user
I order this regularly and always have some ready to drink in the frig. Visitors often ask where I get such good tasting tea. I empty a bag into my ice tea brewing machine (Hamilton Beach) and allow two quarts of water to run through it (no ice). I then pour the brew equally into two half-gallon glass refrigerator pitchers and top them off for one gallon total. NOTE: Using bottled water makes a BIG difference -- the brew is clear - not cloudy, no foam - and it stays fresh days longer. The company's directions call for boiling the bag, but I found that makes a weak batch.

Where's the blueberry?
I brewed this tea as directed. It has no blueberry flavor at all. Though the flavor is nice, it is not appealing to me. Guess I was expecting to have a blueberry taste...I wonder why! Oh, yes, it is a blueberry flavored tea! If you are looking for blueberry, pass by this product and try another brand. Though I love Stash teas, especially the mint ones, this one is disappointing.

Thanks, but no thanks.
This tastes interesting, but it wasn't what I was expecting - which was black currant flavored tea. Think like what is served at Corner Bakery, or available from a host of other brands. This creates a flavored beverage, but no underlying tea flavor, and the black currant is obviously tempered with some other flavors to make it more of a berry mixture. If you were looking for the same flavor as Twinings but in a gallon size, this will not work for you.

I love Stash teas!
Finally!! I have found an iced tea that I can drink without needing to add sugar!!! I like the Black Currant a lot, and I have also tried the Orange Spice (which is also good) so far. These are dead simple to brew--put one of the giant bags in a container in the fridge with water overnight, and then mix that tea concentrate in with enough water to fill 1 gallon the next day. Easy peasy! You can do it with boiled water, too (especially if you are in a hurry), but I like the lazy way ;) This is now my go-to way to make iced tea at home. They are not as strong in the caffeine department I don't think, tho, so you may need to drink more than usual if that is a concern. I seem to need to, anyway. But flavor-wise these are a total winner in my book. I am really happy to have a non-bitter tasting tea to drink! I have been trying to cut sugar and iced tea is a weakness of mine ;)

This has a really good flavor but there's a bit of a,,, gummy? Feeling to it? It's still great but it was a bit strange.

Love this tea!
and glad I discovered the large iced tea bags. I drink my tea over ice and use a Breville tea maker to steep the basket that I fill with individual bags. With this tea, all I have to do is throw the tea bag in my lucite pitcher. boil water in the Breville, pour it over and eventually remove the bag. Fruity, sweet, summery flavor although I'm thinking it is a new favorite for year-round.
